724K Wheel Loader
Whether you are working in mining, aggregates, forestry, or in general construction, the 724K Deere loader would be a perfect fit for your application. The machine is designed to reduce cycle times and higher torque capacity allowing you to accomplish more work during the day.
- Standard five speed PowerShift™ transmission with optional lockup torque converter feature, demonstrates excellent acceleration, speed cycles, and optimized power and fuel efficiency during transport, roading, and ramp climbing. Smart shift technology continuously evaluates speed and load conditions and adjusts clutch pack engagement for smooth and efficient shifting.
- Transmission shuttle shifting allows operator to change the direction of travel on the fly, saving extra time on direction change, and also reducing the axle heating and service brake wear.
- Closed-loop hydraulic system senses the load and delivers the flow needed for smooth combined functions and fast operation.
- Responsive steering and full 80° articulation increase maneuverability in tight areas for faster cycle times and fewer three-point turns.
- Adaptive clutch cutoff automatically provides more power to the hydraulic system, delivering smooth control at high engine rpms and low speeds, and allows better machine operation in all terrain without needing to change settings.
- Standard front axle differential lock can be engaged on the go. Optional High Traction package includes the 100% locking differentials for front and rear axles, targeted for the harshest conditions.
- Optional wheel-spin control boosts productivity by improving traction in soft underfoot conditions. It reduces tire wear and lowers fuel costs and operator fatigue.
- With ride control option, the lift cylinders act as shock absorbers, cushioning bumps to enable quick and easy navigation over rough terrain without material spill. Ride Control can be set to automatically engage at a specific travel speed from 1.5 to 24.0 km/h (0.93 to 14.9 mph).
- Additional operator assistance features include return-to-carry, return-to-dig and boom height kick-out to help operator keep productivity through the entire shift.
