Crestmead, Queensland (02 May, 2019) —Lassogowrie Farms use the John Deere Plus-50 IITM engine oil on a range of tractors, headers and a boom sprayer on their large sheep and cropping operation.

“We use it because it suits the John Deere machines that we own,” says Cam Willliamson of Lassogowrie.

The farms run several machines including the S790 and S690 John Deere headers and a range of John Deere tractors including a 9570RX 4 Track, 9520T Crawler, 8420, 7920 and the R4045 Sprayer.

With properties scattered over 100 kilometres of farm country servicing of machines needs to be efficient, he says.

They’ve been using the lubricants for 10 years and usually change the oil out on the machines at 450 to 500 hours. Cam says over that time they have found the product reliable and have had no issues with using it over long hours.

Cam says Lassogowrie uses John Deere genuine parts and consumables for its machines and finds good support from the company.

500 hour drain interval applies to John Deere diesel engines when the following criteria are met: 1. Engine is equipped with an extended drain interval oil pan. 2. Machine operates with Plus-50 II engine oil API CK-4. 3. Machine uses a John Deere engine oil filter. 4.vMachine uses only ultra low sulphur diesel fuel.
