John Deere ready to support New Zealand lawn lovers in the lead up to mowing season

CRESTMEAD, Queensland (9 November 2020) — As the weather warms and grass begins to flourish across the country, the minds of millions of Kiwis have turned to the mowing season ahead, and the equipment needed to ensure lawns are looking their best.
John Deere Tactical Segment Marketing Manager, Fraser Scott, said the John Deere lineup of Ride-On and Zero-Turn Mowers were ideally suited to New Zealand's unique growing conditions, including the 100 Series and Residential ZTrak™ Zero-Turn Mower ranges, both of which are designed to ensure less time is needed to maintain the lawn, so that more time can be spent enjoying it.

In Marlborough, it was superb support from his dealership which led engineer Lincoln Ellsworth to purchase from the John Deere 100 series range for his home lawn.
"The guys at my local dealership were terrific, I told them the type of property I have and they recommended the exact mower I needed," he said.
"The track I take when I am mowing weaves in and out, a bit like a snake, so I needed something with manoeuvrability. They showed me the E110, and I can't recommend it highly enough."
Lincoln is a weekend warrior when it comes to lawn care for his 800 square metre house block, so reliable no-fuss equipment was top of mind for him.
"When we bought this house, it came with a mower. But I spent more time repairing that machine than I did actually mowing the lawn. It's nice to own a John Deere for the first time, it's a great brand and known for reliability."
